The (Y14-4) 1935 ERA R1B joined the range in 1986 when it was released as one of four vintage racing cars that were intended to promote Lesneys proposed sponsoring of formula one racing events but this was cancelled before any of the races had taken place.

Black, No.7 - This famous Dick Seaman car, now owned and raced by Patrick Marsch, won in 1935 both the Swiss Grand Prix in Beme and Pescara, Italy.
Engine 1980 cc 6-cylinder - 320 bhp - 145 mph (232 km/h).

Blue/Yellow, No.4 - This famous Romulus which was raced by Prince Bira winning in 1936 both the Prince Rainier Cup at Monaco and the JCC International Trophy at Brooklands.

Racing number '4' in black on radiator grille.
Three small red, white, blue, white and red striped flags on both sides of tail and side of bonnet with red, white & blue Union flag off side of bonnet.

Variations/Rarities: There are no rare variations of the ERA.

Chinese-six: In 1991 when Yesteryear production was being carried out in China, the Romulus version was resurrected for a special order for Poland, together with five other models from the range. These six models are now known as the "Chinese six".
